Presentation of the day

Today we are witnessing an epochal turning point in the world of art, the arrival of artificial intelligence is in fact at the center of the debate and divides "purist" artists from "experimental" artists, who see in these new tools an extension of their creativity, a boost to achieve the creation of engaging and spectacular artworks. Obviously, in the use of AI for the creation of art, there is not only the positive aspect, we must also take into consideration the negative aspects which can be multiple such as the lack of recognizability between one artist and another is due solely to aesthetic research and therefore devoid of content, or the loss of manual skills. To avoid these risks, it is essential that artists, researchers and policymakers come together to establish adequate guidelines and regulations to ensure that AI is used responsibly and respectfully of human art and creativity. Let's not forget, however, that a blank sheet of paper and a pen on the table will never be able to produce a novel or a poem…
A few months ago in an interview, I was asked if I wasn't afraid that one day AI might also have a soul.
My response was: I'm not afraid that one day AI might have a soul, but I'm afraid that in the meantime we'll lose ours!...and this is why art must return to a profound dialogue with the observer, helping him to awaken his own awareness. And the artist must rediscover his function as a witness and messenger of values whose aesthetic representation has a strong attractive power towards the message and not an end in itself. Gallerists, artists, collectors, and art lovers, we are all here to make a difference, and our commitment is to make this world a better place to live, with more empathy, more awareness, more beauty an harmony.
