Panel discussion

The roots of digital art go back to the 1970’s. Technological development gave a brand new dimension to these early experiments. As a consequence, the definition of digital art needs to be regularly re-defined, as well as the legal, technological and artistic aspects of digital art and its relations to the collectors, buyers and institutions have to be re-evaluated from time to time. Digital art is an excitingly complex phenomenon that connects visual art to design, film and music.
